Basic information
The Provincial Police Headquarters in Bydgoszcz received funds for implementation of the project entitled „Specialized training as an oportunity to increase effectiveness of law enforcement agencies in the fight against organised crime” under the Norway grants 2014-2021.
The project will be launched on 1.04.2021 and will run until 31.12.2023
The aim of the project is to improve cooperation between law enforcement authorities in order to prevent, detect and combat organised crime by providing specialised training and access to modern technologies. As part of the project, 652 persons will improve their skills in detecting and combating organised crime. The project consists of the following modules:
- Module 1. Training on how to deal with the disclosure of packaging (containing substances) or substances suspected of being narcotic drugs or psychotropic substances or explosives (terrorist threats).
- Module 2. Parachute training for officers of the Independent Counter-Terrorist Squad of the Police in Bydgoszcz.
- Module 3. Diving training for officers of the Independent Counter-Terrorist Squad of the Police in Bydgoszcz.
- Module 4. Training - cryptocurrencies as a tool for committing crimes and money laundering.
- Module 5. Methods of data recovery from mobile devices and analysis.
- Module 6. Language training.
The total value of the project entitled „Specialized training as an oportunity to increase effectiveness of law enforcement agencies in the fight against organised crime” amonunts to: 512 863,30 Eur, including financing from Norwegian Financial Mechanism: 435 933,81 Eur and co-financing from the state budget: 76 929,49 Eur.
