Climbing training

On 03-09 July 2022 and 10-16 July 2022, two groups of five officers of the Independent Counter-Terrorist Police Unit in Bydgoszcz participated in the altitude training with the use of rope techniques in Szczawnica as part of the project „Specialized training as an opportunity to increase effectiveness of law enforcement agencies in the fight against organised crime”.

The project has been financed with Norwegian Financial Mechanism`s means and a state budget within the programme „Internal Affairs”. The programme is under supervision of Interior and Administration Ministry.
The participants were divided into two groups (basic and advanced level). Both groups were acquainted with rope techniques, high-altitude equipment (standards, parameters, maintenance), individual and team equipment and new products in rope techniques. Depending on the level of advancement, practical exercises took place, among others, in the Snozka quarry, on an industrial building, on Czerwona Skala, in the vicinity of the Białka Gorge and Małe Pieniny and on the Lubań observation tower.
